Collection: Reza Amiri
My name is Reza Amiri, I am a German-Persian artist, born in 1979 in Sari, Iran. Even as a small child, I was fascinated by painting and drawing, sports, muscles and motivation. I was very much inspired by 80s films like Rocky and Karate Kid films; they always conveyed a positive message that we all need again today. My art teachers Daniela Moll Wobst from Mainz and Ilona Lesnaja from Wiesbaden gave me a lot along the way when it comes to artistic craftsmanship. In 2017 I discovered my own style and continued to develop it.
Since then, art, self-love and motivation have belonged together for me. Especially in today's difficult times, when we are all fighting our battle against ourselves, I want to motivate my viewers and show what strength they have. I mainly paint with acrylics on canvas.
